The city is opening again!

Bold Street, Liverpool The city is opening again!

Are you ready to emerge from your lockdown chrysalis? With both outdoor and indoor hospitality now back open for business, everything from retail therapy to catchups with mates is back on the cards – and we can’t wait!

Rediscover Liverpool

When it comes to “getting back out there”, Liverpool has so much to offer. Last week we talked all things beer gardens – but if bevvies aren’t the only thing on your mind, we’ve got your back. . .

  1. The Baltic Triangle

Sure, Liverpool One is fantastic as a place to eat, drink and shop – but it’s pretty uninspiring if you’re looking to really rediscover the city. Enter: the Baltic Triangle. Vibrant, unique, and offering the BEST halloumi fries we have ever had, this is the perfect place to soak up the character of Liverpool and enjoy a bit of Ghetto Golf whilst while you’re at it!

  • Bold Street

Bold Street is one of the most famous spots in Liverpool, so if you’ve spent most of your student experience cooped up inside, now is the time to experience it for yourself. Rich in vintage style, this is the place to go if you’re looking to grab a bargain, a one-of-a-kind dress, or an original piece that you can show off to your mates.

  • Lark Lane

Lark Lane has earned a rep as being a “hidden gem”, but we’re prepared to let the cat out the bag for the greater good! Lark Lane is ideal for a cute date night, a relaxing bite to eat, or a place to feel inspired and unlock those creative juices. The food and drink on offer here are not your bog-standard burger and fries, and you can discover some truly memorable places – whether it’s coffee or a cocktail!

Other honourable mentions include . . .

After a cheap pint? The infamous Brookhouse Pub offers pints at just £1.50 – perfect for the broke student.

Want to experience Liverpool’s history? The Albert Docks is a great place to go, often very tourist-heavy, but worth a visit for the views of the docks and the museums – including the Tate Liverpool, The Beatles Story Museum, and the Museum of Liverpool to name a few.

Love Liverpool

Indoor hospitality officially opened up on 17th May – just in time for the glorious sunshine we’re currently experiencing . . .

Ironic, isn’t it?

But, whether you’re an indoor or outdoor type of person, there’s no denying that the reopening of the city is bringing us all so much hope and joy.

2020 and the first half of 2021 have been tough, and our students have felt the brunt of the lockdown restrictions, but here at Caro Lettings, we’re proud to say that we continue supporting our students with affordable student accommodation in Liverpool.
