If this mini heatwave is anything to go by it means that spring is finally upon us and its time to get excited about all the boss things happening in Liverpool this spring and summer!
We know this can be a pretty stressful time, especially for you third years but every month there is something to look forward to. Whether it’s a food festival, an all-night city-wide arts exhibition or a wet and wild adventure down at the Docks, we’ve got you covered with our guide to what’s on in Liverpool.
All Summer long
5th May – October: Adventure Dock
Yep – a giant inflatable, ninja warrior style obstacle course is coming to Duke Dock, right next to the Albert Dock. There’ll be huge slides, climbing walls and trampolines for you and your mates to challenge each other on. For more info and to book you tickets, click here.
18th May – 22nd April 2019 : Double Fantasy – John & Yoko
A ground-breaking world first, this exhibition tells the story of John Lenon and Yoko Ono in their own words. Discover more about one of the most famous couple’s personal and creative chemistry and ow they expressed their deep and powerful love through music, art and film. Best of all, it’s completely free! 7th July – September: Pier Head Village Festival
Back for the third year in a row, Pier Head is being taken over pop-up bars, street food stalls, and of course, thrill seeking rides! The village is open all day and late into the night and is the perfect way to enjoy a day in the city. We’ll see you on Sky Swing!

3rd – 9th: Independents’ week @ Bold Street
A week long celebration for all the independent businesses in Liverpool, concluding with a street festival on Bold street. It’ll feature farmers’ markets, crafts stalls, street entertainers and more!
13th-14th: Prosecco and Fizz Festival @ St. George’s Hall
Liverpool’s beautiful St. George’s Hall is hosting an event not to be missed! There’ll be over 20 different kinds of proseccos, amazing prosecco cocktails and a glass of prosecco on arrival. Tickets start from £10.00 – visit the St Georges Hall website for more details.
14th: Brazilica
Celebrate Brazilian arts and culture in Liverpool this summer. Over 800 performers will shimmy and samba their way through the city centre in glittering costumes and on decadent floats. Check their website for more details.
20th-29th: Liverpool Beer Week @ various locations
Finish off July with a whole week, well nine days actually, dedicated to beer! Whether you like craft, real ale, continental or transatlantic, there’ll be something for everyone. Whilst some events will be ticketed, there’ll be plenty of free events too. Find out more here.
21st-22nd July: Liverpool International Music Festival @ Sefton Park

28th – 29th: Liverpool Pride

19th: Red Bull Drift Shifters
A selection of the world’s top drifters, including Mad Mike Whiddett himself, will compete in the shadow of the city’s famous Royal Liver Building to see who is the slickest of them all. Be sure not to miss out on any of the action… Visit the website for more.
22nd – 28th: International Beatles Week
In the city of Liverpool where it all began, celebrate the music of the world’s most famous band, The Beatles! Head to the Cavern Club on Matthew Street to enjoy live music and performances of your favourite Beatles’ songs. Visit the website for more details
