This year, St Patrick’s Day falls on Saturday! You have an entire weekend to celebrate, drink pints of Guinness with Irish whisky chasers and sing your heart out to B*Witched whilst wearing a “Kiss me, I’m Irish” top.
The big question though, is where to celebrate? Not to worry, we have complied this ultimate guide to help you celebrate St Patrick’s Day in Liverpool.
Bongos Bingo
B*Witched will be performing not once, not twice, but THREE times at Bongo’s Bingo for some very special St Patrick’s Day shows. Catch them on Thursday 15th, Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March for a sing along and Irish jig.
Baltic Market
The lads down at Baltic Market are going all out for St Patrick’s Day with a massive four-day extravaganza including a Jameson pop-up whisky bar and ALL the Guinness.
Add to this live music from Irish musicians, local Liverpool band Loose Moose String and a special DJ set from Johnny Bongo, you will be jigging the night away!
Thursday 15th and Sunday 18th are free entry.
Friday 16th and Saturday 17th – £3 on the door.

Salt Dog Slims
Salt Dog Slims are opening at 10am with a special breakfast hot dog, an exclusive Jameson whiskey menu and their biggest ever hot dog competition! With plenty of prizes up fro grabs, you’d be crazy not to stop by.
Sh*t Irish Disco @ Camp and Furnace
Starting at 10am all the way through to 3am, Camp and Furnace Sh*it Irish Disco is not to be missed. There’ll be Guinness, Irish pop hits, glow sticks, giant inflatables and of course Johnny Bongo on the decks. Tickets from £5
Modo – Concert Square
The guys down at Modo are holding an all-day Irish extravaganza, with a load of outdoor Guinness and live DJ performances.
Level – Concert Square
This popular student haunt will be kicking of St Patrick’s day from 1pm, with Leprechauns, £3 pints of Guinness, live coverage of the Six Nations England Vs Ireland match and a whole floor playing exclusively Irish bangers.
An Irish Pub Crawl
It seems that in Liverpool you’re never too far away from an Irish pub and there’s no better way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day than with an Irish pub crawl.
Start off at Shenanigans on Tithebarn Street, which first opened in 1841 and claims to serve the best Guinness in the city – although we’ll let you be the judge of that!
Flanagan’s Apple on Matthew Street has been everything from a Beatles museum to a dance school, but is now considered one of Liverpool’s best Irish pubs.
Next hit up Blarney Stone on Renshaw street. Best known for its party atmosphere. Be sure to check out the Statue of Liberty adorned with an Irish Flag!
Pogue Mahone on Seel Street is another of Liverpool’s famous Irish pubs. The walls here are lined with memorabilia and the party atmosphere is legendary.
End your crawl at McCooleys in Concert Square where hopefully the DJs will be playing some “C’est la Vie” and the classic “Belle of Belfast City”.
Hangover Recovery at O’Neills
Nurse your hangover with half price Irish breakfasts at O’Neill’s – if you think your stomach could handle it that is!
